Akagera boosts of the big five animal which are present in this area, and if chances allow we might spot all of them. Return to the lodge for lunch, and after you will embark on a boat cruise on Lake Ihema to spot Hippos and some crocodiles. Numerous bird species like the sandpipers, kingfishers, fish eagle plus the rare shoebill stock can be spotted in Akagera. After the boat cruise, exit the park for Kigali city.

Have breakfast and head to the briefing point where you will receive some briefing on the dos and don'ts during the Gorilla trekking. Thereafter, you will enter the Gorilla tracking zones for your adventure. You will then descend to the amazing Bwindi impenetrable to start off the search of the gorillas. The time taken to find the gentle giants entirely depends on their movements. And when you locate the gorillas, you will be allowed a maximum of 1 hour of photography and observation. Catch the moment with the gorillas and take as many photos as you can.

Return to the lodge for check out and some refreshment and after head to Lake Bunyonyi. Overnight at bird nest or bunyonyi safaris resort.

After a relaxed breakfast, enjoy Lake Bunyonyi tour and photography: enjoy the boat cruise to explore the different islands of Lake Bunyonyi as you spot some resident and migratory bird species. You will cruise to the different islands which include Punishment Island where Bakiga girls who became pregnant before marriage were taken and left to die. Other islands of Lake Bunyonyi include upside island, Akampene, Bushara, and Bucuraniko among others. Spend the afternoon at leisure.
