Our safari guide will meet you this morning and briefs you on the safari before setting off. You will head west of Uganda where Kibale Park lies. Reach fort portal in the afternoon for lunch and thereafter head to Kibale visitor information center for a briefing about your chimpanzee activity. You will then proceed to trek the chimps in the forest with the help of an experienced ranger guide. Upon sighting the chimps, a full hour will be given to take photos and observe these great apes. Bond and enjoy the presence of the chimps plus the freshness of this forest.
You will then check in at chimpanzee lodge, turacco tree tops, or isunga lodge. Dinner and overnight
Enjoy breakfast at your lodge, and then undertake a crater drive to view some of the crater lakes that were formed due to volcanic eruptions. You will then hit the road with a packed lunch box back to Kampala or at the airport.
Dinner and overnight at bunyonyi over land cottages or Lake Bunyonyi rock resort.

We keep our group sizes low so that you have the freedom to move around and get involved with your surroundings, as well as more personal attention from our local guides. This intimate size ensures that your group will not crowd your experience. You can expect up to 15 travelers on a trip but the average is 10.
Travelers arrive from all over the world to begin our tours and it is not possible to include international airfare in our prices. We would be happy to help you arrange flights. Just ask for an air quote when making your booking.
To travel independently you must be at least 18 years of age. There are no upper age limits for most of our tours. Also, travellers with pre-existing medical conditions are required to complete a medical questionnaire. Our Family Adventures are open to families with children aged between 5 and 17 years of age. Our standard (non-family) adventures are open to children aged 12 years or older when accompanied by a parent (max. two children per adult). The two-children-per-adult restriction does not apply to our Family adventures.
