Day 1: Kampala to Bwindi N.Park.
You will meet our Safari guide and he briefs you about your Safari at 07:00 am. The drive will then start straight away and head to Bwindi national park which lies in the south western part of Uganda at the edge of the East Africa rift valley. This beautiful drive is roughly a 10 hours’ drive which takes you past Lake Mburo national park, except to see some zebra grazing near the road. A lunch break will be taken at igongo cultural centre/ Agip motel in Mbarara city. You will drive through gorgeous landscapes characterized with the rolling hills, valleys, villages and farms. These will keep your eyes busy until you will reach the park late evening. Check in at your lodge. Dinner and overnight. Dinner at Bakiga lodge, ichumbi or broad bill lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.Gorillas are the highlight of this day. You will wake up early enough, so that you catch up with your breakfast. Your Safari guide will remind you on what to put on and to carry before you head out for your gorilla briefing at the visitor center. A parked lunch box will be one of the requirements for that strenuous activity waiting for you. Gorillas live in different families and each group is allocated to a particular family which is tracked with the help of trackers, a ranger guide and security personals. You will stay with the Gorillas for an hour as you take photos and learn about their behavior. After gorilla trekking, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi where you will relax at the lake with many small birds. Enjoy an evening canoe, kayaking or swimming for leisure. Dinner and overnight at Hawk's eye or rock resort.
Day 3: Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe.
Have a relaxed breast fast with great views of Lake Bunyonyi and the different small birds of this lake. You will then be transferred back to your final drop off point, with an enroute lunch stop at the equator line in kayabwe.
